Our 'Doll's House' Cottage.

The Cottage, which is the original Number 18 Market Place is a very cosy self-contained 1-up-1-down accommodation with it's own bright red Rayburn.

It is a traditional Teesdale Lead Miners Cottage; and is talked of as the oldest dwelling House in Middleton-in-Teesdale.

Upstairs is a lovely double bedroom with exposed beams from the original roof structure and a newly refurbished ensuite shower room & WC.

The Cottage has its own separate access through the alleyway to our Beer Garden and provides a lovely, quiet and tranquil base for a short or longer stay in Teesdale.

Cycles and most Motor Bikes can be parked immediately outside the cottage for that extra piece of mind during your stay.

The cottage provides a real hideaway and has one of our very comfortable Double Beds.

It is ideal for one or two adults.

There is a Freeview TV with DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities are available.

The cottage is offered as a Bed & Breakfast Room for 2 people and includes our stunning prize winning Breakfast. We only use meat from McFarlane's our local family butcher, including the very tasty Teesdale Sausage.
